The Southern Gas Corridor (SGC) I – Is it relevant for Turkmenistan? 

The SGC would be a chance for Turkmenistan to deliver its gas to Europe. This would increase the diversification of European gas sources. (Although Russian gas firms are participating). Maros Sefcovic, vice president of the European Commissionn for energy confirmed that Turkmenistan will be involved in the plannings of the Southern Gas corridor.
